It is a special finishing material designed to remove moisture (sweat) from the body and provide quick drying. This product is designed as a wicking agent is used as a finishing material.
The fabric applied to the wicking finish keeps the person dry and allows the body's temperature to be regulated more effectively. It helps to prevent the odor and irritation experienced with sweating.
Textile products should be able to absorb the resulting moisture with capillary forces. This condition is also known as the "wicking effect". These capillary forces increase as the spaces between the fibers that make up the fabric.
DENOVA WICKY provides effective wicking and fast drying properties on cotton, viscose, polyester, nylon and blended fabrics.
DENOVA WICKY provides moisture management, especially for 100% cotton fabrics. Disadvantages of cotton fabrics: Cotton fabrics become heavy when wet. Depending on the increase in weight, the sagging lengthens. The drying time is very long. It adheres to the body during movement. After sweating, a person feels wet. The stated disadvantages of cotton fabrics can be reduced and prevented with chemicals that provide a moisture management system.
The fabric types in which the moisture management system is most commonly used are usually underwear fabrics, denim, home textiles, seamless and round knits, socks, knitwear, shirting fabrics.
The principle of moisture absorption and transfer (wicking) works with the capillarity effect (capillary effect). Moisture is transferred through the hydrophilic material, so that water/moisture can be pulled out or upwards. Textile products with moisture transfer properties are preferred, especially in sportswear products. These products remove the sweat from the body and transfer it to the air, making users feel cooler and more comfortable.
